 Moving really fucking sucks. Especially when moving from a place where you were notably happy to a place where you can only wallow in your lonely, aimless existence. I also just found out that my little brother has a girlfriend! My brother who is six years younger than me! Meanwhile i am 22 years old and am going to die alone! That little bastard has forsaken our sibling solidarity of reclusiveness and misanthropy.

 Yesterday i saw the two most nonsensical billboards i've ever seen, both along the same road. The first said "Will you tickle me? My friends call me THE RENT KING." with a little cartoon king next to it. There was no information regarding any sort of business establishment, nor was it near any place called "The Rent King". My dad and i sat there for about five minutes trying to figure it out, but we came to the conclusion that it did not, in fact, MAKE SENSE. It seems like it should, somehow, but it doesn't. The second billboard was all red with white text that read "I have a beard made of meat!" ...That's it. Now, admittedly, that's kind of hilarious, but... WHAT? MY BRAIN HAS FALLEN OUT.

We watched the space shuttle launch today in HD, and i swear, it was like i had never seen a shuttle launch before, it was amazing. It got me a little verklempt with love for humankind and reaching out to the cosmos, etc. etc., it was THAT COOL. Technology is neat. Hooray for humans!

I also finally saw Superman Returns, which was awesome. It seemed like it got a bit long and meandering in the second half, but for the most part i really enjoyed it. Superman is so wholesomely heroic, and even though i've never been a big fan (apart from Smallville, LOLOLOL. Oh, that show.), the theme song, the costume, the FLYING- it just gets to you. Plus, Brandon Routh is inhumanly pretty... which works out well, considering, you know... alien. He was ridiculously perfect for the role, he totally nailed Clark's IMMENSE dorkitude as well as the Lonely God (OMG Doctor Who?) superhero/alien angst. Plus the kid seems alright, i liked him in his Letterman interview a ways back. I've been bugged about the Kate Bosworth casting foreeever, but thankfully Lois didn't suck as i had expected. Additionally, it was all verrry PRETTY! Nice, thoughtful quiet moments, cooooool superheroic stuff, and... pretty. Thumbs up!
