V for Vendetta was completely, totally, ridiculously awesome. There's just been so much worthless crap in theatres for so long, to be excited for a new movie and then for it to end up being utterly worth seeing in the theatre fiiiiiills me with glee. Did i mention it was awesome? It was AWESOME. I know my opinion gets sort of overenthusiastic immediately after seeing something when it hasn't had time yet to sink in, but... i can't even put into words how much it kicked my ass. I'M NOT KIDDING THIS TIME. IT WAS SO GOOD. Seriously. Goosebumps. I wish i could emphasize that more. So... imagine all of this in bold red 72pt text. With lots of exclamation points. Flashing. Also, i find it a little depressing that Natalie Portman is that gorgeous even when she's frickin' bald.
p.s. I would probably go see a movie of just Hugo Weaving and Stephen Fry talking.
Seeing the pre-previews First Look thingie for The Sentinel with KIEF makes me realize how much i have fallen in love with Jack Bauer. That badass motherfucker.
What i have done over spring break instead of painting: played Mario 64 on Nintendo DS, gone through old Entertainment Weeklys cutting out any pictures/articles worth keeping (...i like magazines.), read the twelfth book in A Series of Unfortunate Events (i don't want the next one to be the last, i love them SO MUCH. With that ending, and Harry Potter ending, i'll have no other young adult books left to read, which means i will have no more books to read EVER.), and ate a lot of delicious food because... i don't feed myself when not living with my parents. I knew i wouldn't get any work done over the break because procrastination is, uh, my life, but i still hate myself for it. A lot. I'M SO FUCKED.
But anyway! That's not even important, because movies are COOL.
